Your fragrance collection is private unless you choose to share it.

Account and collection data

We store your email address, display name, protected password credentials, sessions and the collection information you save. This includes shelves, private journal entries and account activity. We use this information to provide your account, send verification and password-reset emails, and protect the service.

What other people can see

Anyone with a shared shelf link can view that shelf. You can revoke the link. Reviews you submit can become public after moderation. Review reports and private journal entries are not published. Avoid putting personal information in public reviews or shared shelf names.

Browser storage

We use cookies for sign-in and shopping preferences. Your browser can also store your theme, guest shortlist and comparison selections. Clearing browser storage can remove guest selections. We do not currently run advertising or marketing analytics scripts.

Service providers and shopping links

Cloudflare hosts the service, stores application data and sends account emails. Support messages are forwarded to our support inbox hosted by Google. eBay provides listing information; listing images can load from eBay. Shopping links take you to separate retailers with their own privacy policies. Affiliate links include tracking information used to attribute referrals.

Retention and deletion

Account data remains while your account is active. Account deletion removes active account-owned collection data and revokes sessions and shared links. Some moderation audit information about other people’s content may remain. Hosting backups can retain earlier data for up to 30 days. After a backup restore, deletion requests must be reapplied before the service reopens. Operational records may be retained for security and troubleshooting.

Your choices

You can export your collection, withdraw your reviews and revoke shelf sharing through your account. Contact support@ratelens.com for access, correction, deletion or privacy questions. Never send your password or verification links.
